Kennedy Williams is a senior at Porter Ridge High School and a dedicated leader of her FCA Huddle. A passionate track athlete, Kennedy brings the same discipline and drive from the track into her faith and leadership. She loves spending quality time with her favorite brother, Kingston, and draws daily inspiration from her mother—an entrepreneur who has modeled faith, excellence, and bold leadership. Kennedy also enjoys being on the sidelines, interviewing athletes before and after sporting events, using her voice to encourage others. As a dynamic speaker with a deep love for the Word of God, Kennedy is passionate about impacting her school and community for Christ and inspiring others to live out a proven faith.

What does it mean to be PROVEN in your faith?
Join us for a powerful, student-led FCA conference designed to equip and disciple students to live boldly for Christ in their schools. This one-night experience will include extended worship, a keynote message, and three interactive breakout sessions taught by students who are actively using FCA resources to share the Gospel on their campuses.
Two breakout sessions will dive deep into the FCA PROVEN theme—helping students understand how their faith is tested, strengthened, and lived out daily. The third session will focus on FCA’s Ministry Game Plan and our mission to India, highlighting how sports are being used to share the Gospel in a Muslim nation.
This conference is built on the belief that discipleship multiplies—just as Jesus intentionally discipled the Twelve and later sent out the Seventy-Two. The $12 registration symbolizes our commitment to both being discipled and discipling others. We are launching the 12 + 72 Challenge, limiting attendance to 84 participants. Volunteers support student-led worship, breakout sessions, and transitions while modeling servant leadership and faith in action. Lake Norman FCA Worship Band
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes Worship Band is a student-led team passionate about using music to glorify God and create space for young people to encounter Jesus personally. Formed through FCA gatherings, school clubs, and community events, this band is made up of students from different churches, different schools, and different backgrounds, who don’t just play music—they lead with humility, prayer, and a desire to see lives transformed.
Through worship nights, FCA huddles, and large-scale events, the band has helped usher in the presence of God, breaking down walls and opening hearts across the community. Their worship has created moments where students feel seen, heard, and invited into a real relationship with Christ. Many have experienced healing, renewed faith, and a deeper understanding of God’s love through these times of worship.
More than a band, this team is a ministry—disciples being discipled, using their gifts to point others to Jesus and spark spiritual movement among the next generation.
FCA Proven Sessions
Proven Breakout Sessions are student-led breakout sessions designed to help students grow in their faith, apply God’s Word to everyday life, and learn how to live boldly for Christ at school. Each session equips students with practical tools to be discipled and disciple others.
Session I: Proven Life
Discover what it means to remain in Christ and prioritize spiritual training over performance. Students will learn how connection with Jesus produces lasting fruit and joy, and how to develop a spiritual training plan that strengthens faith daily. This session equips athletes to integrate faith into every area of life.
Session II: Proven Love
Explore Jesus’ command to love one another as He loved us. Students will learn the power of agape love—sacrificial and unconditional—and how to show it to teammates and those often overlooked. This session challenges students to choose obedience, commit to Christ-like relationships, and lead FCA Huddles with resilience and grace.
Session III: Proven Mission
Catch a vision for living on mission locally and globally. Students will learn how to create a Ministry Game Plan for their campus and discover FCA’s global outreach, including the mission to India. This session inspires students to take practical steps toward multiplying disciples and impacting nations through the Gospel.
