The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is excited to announce a FCA Dance Workshop with Laketha Bobbish, beginning Monday, September 14th, at the FCA Education Center, 691 Brookwood Drive, Mooresville, NC 28115. Hosted in our newly remodeled dance studio, this inspiring program offers students an opportunity to develop their dance skills while expressing creativity, confidence, faith, and purpose through movement.

Laketha Bobbish will provide instruction in ballet, jazz, and hip hop, helping students build a strong foundation in technique, choreography, musicality, and performance. Whether participants are experienced dancers or just beginning their journey, this workshop is designed to encourage growth in a positive and supportive environment.

The workshop will feature two age-specific sessions:

  • Middle School Session (Grades 6-8): 4:00 PM
  • High School Session (Grades 9-12): 5:00 PM

Throughout the program, students will learn how dance can be used as a powerful form of artistic expression and worship. Emphasis will be placed on discipline, teamwork, character development, and building self-confidence while fostering meaningful connections with peers.

Participants will also enjoy the opportunity to train in FCA's beautiful new dance studio, a space created to inspire creativity and excellence. Under Laketha's guidance, dancers will work toward mastering choreography and developing a strong stage presence.

The workshop will conclude with a special showcase performance, where students will present what they have learned before family and friends. This celebratory event will highlight their hard work, perseverance, and growth throughout the program.
